Immerse yourself in a day with floral designer Sarah Statham from Simply by Arrangement. Sarah trains and teaches with internationally recognised floral designers and her philosophy is 'never stop learning'.
Sarah passes on her knowledge with warmth and good humour and we are so delighted that she is joining us here in Crathorne.

You will be greeted by an abundance of glorious seasonal flowers and foliage - all thoughtfully selected with Sarah's keen eye for the most delicious combinations of colour and texture. Your morning will be spent with Sarah guiding you through her design process as you create a glorious and abundant bowl arrangement.

At lunchtime we will take a slow (and short) walk through Crathorne to the fabulous Crathorne Arms for a delicious two course Sunday Lunch in perfectly quirky and welcoming surroundings (please advise any dietary requirements upon booking).

Upon your return to The Reading Room you will enter a room full of carefully selected fabric and silks, backdrops and antique props ready for a styling masterclass with Kirsty and Vicky. We will spend an explorative few hours creating effortless yet beautiful scenes where your flowers take centre stage. You will gain confidence your own signature 'look'.

Our in-house photographer Charlotte Eve of Eve Photography will join us for our final hour to take photos of your final styled designs and will also give advice on how to take stunning photographs with your phone camera. Following the workshop you will be sent your photograph to use for editorial or promotional purposes or just as beautiful reminder of a creatively restorative and reflective day.

If you have a rather intense appreciation for florals and you would like to explore the creative medium of styling and then this immersing, colourful and beautiful day will be perfect for you.

This workshop is held at The Reading Room, Crathorne, North Yorkshire.
Welcome drinks at 10am, we expect the day to close by 4.30pm.
All equipment and refreshments will be provided.  Due to an anticipated high level of creativeness and giddiness we expect you will need to bring your own apron or old shirt. Refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Workshop places are limited and we have a minimum number of places required to run each session. To reserve your place ahead of time we now offer a deposit and instalment option. The first instalment is due by the end of September, the second by the end of October. Please note deposits are non refundable but we will use our discretion to move your deposit or balance to another workshop if you cannot attend the original date  - a minimum of 5 working days notice is required.
