Capturing the perfect view on a glorious day or precious moments of connection between loved ones...or even a desire to photograph your business products beautifully can be made possible with a full understanding of your own camera.

In this hands on workshop Charlotte Eve will help you make the most of your digital camera. She will demystify exposure and explain how to set up your camera to make it work for you. Through working both indoors and outside Charlotte will help you discover how to recognise good light and maximise the available natural light. Composition and framing will also be considered and discussed to help enhance your photography. Enjoy practical sessions throughout the day with ample time for one to one help with your individual camera. A session on how to edit your images from home and how to store them will wrap up an inspiring day. Leave full of renewed excitement and enthusiasm, ready to master your camera and produce some breathtaking images to keep and share forever.

A follow on workshop exploring lighting and composition in more depth from a fine art viewpoint will be available to build upon skills and knowledge learnt in this workshop.

This workshop is perfect for all levels of ability, no previous knowledge is required but equally those confident with your camera but keen to have a professionals input on how to take your images further are  most welcome. Charlotte will ensure ample one to one time is available and there will be time at the end of the day to review any gaps in your knowledge.

This workshop is held at The Reading Room, Crathorne, North Yorkshire.
Welcome drinks at 11am, we expect the afternoon to close around 3.30pm.
Please bring your own digital camera or mirrorless camera system, plus ample memory cards for a full day of photography and fully charged batteries.
Your day will include being outside, with a beautiful walk around local woodland so please ensure you being appropriate clothing and footwear.  Refreshments will be served throughout the day and a light lunch will be provided.

Workshop places are limited and we have a minimum number of places required to run each session. To reserve your place ahead of time we now offer a deposit option with the full balance payable no later than two weeks prior to the workshop. Please note deposits are non refundable but we will use our discretion to move your deposit or balance to another workshop if you cannot attend the original date  - a minimum of 5 working days notice is required.
