" A STILL LIFE" - THE SUNDAY ART SCHOOL - SUNDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER (LATE AFTERNOON)
Aesthete (adj.) someone with deep sensitivity to art and nature.
This inspiring Still Life workshop is a requested and extended addition to our usual Sunday Art School. A little extended time where you can experiment with drawing and painting skills from media exploration and application to composition and detail. A perfect afternoon to relax and observe the beautiful layers displayed in the arrangment specially styed for the day for you to be inspired.
It is an opportunity for you to discover skills and engage with your creative side on a calm Sunday late afternoon. Four special hours just for you.
You will be welcomed with tables laid with palettes of dyes, bottles of inks and tubes of paints; jars of paint brushes and sharpened pencils; precious piles of hand torn cartridge paper, bowls of pastels and crayons and layers of simple 'joy' to be found. An array of collage papers sit alongside beautiful collections of natural forms, fabrics and decorative objects to draw from and be inspired by.
This is also a moment of time, put aside, to ignite or re-light that creative flame, a place to immerse yourself in the simple indulgence of experimentation and expression; it is a creative journey that is to be made walking as many miles as you wish to walk.
THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU...
For those who want to gently engage and be introduced to drawing and painting for the very first time or bring back to the surface skills from years past. There is also a place for those who would just love the time to re-kindle their passion and produce a collection of studies for personal development.
